What will I do in the role of a Medication Technician?

• Answer call bells and promptly respond to resident requests
• Participate in development and implementation of a comprehensive support plan for the resident
• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, hair care, mouth care, and shaving.
• Take and chart blood pressure, accu-checks, weights, and heights in electronic medical records.
• Observe and report changes in resident’s condition
• Assist with ambulation and lifting/transferring residents, as needed

Qualifications of a Medical Technician

• Must be 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Caring and compassionate; enjoy working with the older population
• Certified within 30 days of hire date

This position requires proof of the influenza vaccine, unless a medical or religious exemption is granted.
