About the "Department"
The San Juan Cancer Center opened its doors on April 3, 2006, providing state-of-the-art cancer care closer to home for residents of a huge seven-county area in southwestern Colorado. About The Career:
The Oncology Registered Nurse performs as staff nurse/RN in medical oncology office working alongside the physician for routine follow ups and consults.
This position helps manage the development of treatment plans for the infusion team, communicating clinical need for our prior authorization team and patient needs through the course of treatment.
Depending on interest level this candidate may be eligible to cross train for infusion.
All About You :

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Colorado RN license.
• Previous experience in inpatient medical nursing, oncology nursing, medical office nursing, chemotherapy and Radiation administration, and venipuncture preferred.
• Preference for OCN and ONS Chemotherapy Administration Certification.
• BLS Certification required.
