Position Summary: 

The Digital Media Intern will learn and receive a hands-on experience while building professional skills in various areas relating to paid digital marketing. The areas include Digital Media, Paid Social, and Programmatic functionalities across all MEC brands.

Essential Job Functions: 

• Participate in media agency, media partner and internal staff meetings to provide insight on working with both internal and external partners.
• Learn and work across different digital advertising platforms across video, social, and programmatic media outlets to set up media campaigns.
• Review PnO Reports to understand media pacing, performance, insights and optimizations on current campaigns.
• Analyze competitor and industry media trends to better understand the current media landscape.
• Participate in budget forecasting, management and reconciliation meetings with agency partners and internal teams.
• Work across the various teams within the Digital Marketing Department to understand areas of responsibility and processes within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned that will impact and support the intern’s overall professional development.

Position Requirements: 

• Preferred field of study: Marketing, Business, Economics, Communications, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Digital Marketing and/or Social Media 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 
• Mouse/Keyboard/Computer use constantly; Prolonged PC Monitor use constantly 

Pay Rate: $16/hr
