This position is responsible for weekly payroll processing, maintenance of electronic employee data, weekly tax payments, quarterly and yearly reporting/filings, and other applicable payroll duties for multiple legal entities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• At least 2 years of experience in payroll within a large organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Preferred:

• Experience in HRIS software.
• Experience with processing and reporting payroll taxes.
• Experience with quarterly/yearly payroll reporting/filings.

Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Familiar with office equipment and be proficient in typing and/or computer skills.
• Able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must qualify for employment, after criminal background check, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
