The Headlines:

Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate technological support and technical information between production, maintenance, and engineering on defined assignments.
Monitor the manufacturing process and associated support facilities and process systems utilizing condition based monitoring tools to enhance reliability, productivity and quality.

Acquire and analyze data as it applies to the manufacturing process and utilize that data to determine machine health in the manufacturing process.

Must be competent and able to work closely with Project Teams and Engineering Teams to ensure that we are working towards our company standards. This role is critical to ensuring that we continue to set up equipment in a way that is aligned with our current equipment and can be maintained by the packaging maintenance teams.

Must be able to read and understand in great deal all forms of equipment manuals and drawings, challenge Engineering and Project Teams on design, and assist our maintenance teams with design modifications where necessary in order to improve our operating efficiencies with safety and quality as a priority in mind.

Ability to train the maintenance team, have strong communication skills with a very high level of competency that can be respected by our current maintenance team, have patience in order to train all levels of maintenance craft and operation specialists, and be able to interface with all levels of leadership in a professional manner.

Must have the necessary experience, aptitude, and education to perform duties such as set-up, adjustment, troubleshooting, P.M. inspections, and overhaul, and make equipment improvements when necessary. Assist in the training of new employees and trainees. Performs all work in a safe manner demonstrating proper use of safety equipment at all time.

The Responsibilities:

  • Performs set-up, adjustment, timing, troubleshooting, and replacement of equipment following Asset CARE methodology.
  • Contributes to a work place by performing all tasks in accordance with NFPA70E, OSHA, EPA, FDA, Lock Out/Tag Out/Try Out safety rules, codes, policies and regulations and Confined Entry policies.
  • Contributes to customer satisfaction. Works as a self-motivated individual with minimal supervision. Works to Design out Maintenance where applicable as well as driving towards improving equipment reliability through proper maintenance procedures.
  • Works to reduce unplanned downtime by working with the Maintenance Leads (Planners) to make necessary improvements in equipment.
  • Uses data and specific procedures to determine Root-cause failure and strives to correct the problem versus the symptom. Documents all work in CMMS – SAP on a timely basis.

The Other Qualifications:

  • You have a high school diploma or a GED and you are at least 21 years of age
  • Related maintenance planning experience is required.
  • As part of the recruitment process, the candidates will be required to provide consent to complete a background check.
  • Must have a degree in post-secondary schooling or have completed a certified apprenticeship in either an electrical or mechanical discipline, or have equivalent manufacturing education and experience achieved from working in the manufacturing maintenance environment for at least 5 years.
  • This individual should be highly proficient with industrial and predictive technologies and applications of condition based monitoring in the manufacturing environment and have the ability to conduct training classes.
  • Individual should have a passion for accurate documentation and have good functional skills with Team Center, SAP and Microsoft Office.
