Awning Design in Freehold, NJ is looking for full-time awning installers familiar with installing custom canvas awnings, retractable awnings, metal canopies, and other shade products for both residential and commercial jobs.

We are willing to train the right individual, if you posses carpentry and or construction experience.

Pay will be based off experience. Full Time all year round.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Complete daily installation jobs
• Arriving to shop location on time and prepared.
• Loading trucks with the day’s jobs.
• Installing awnings, patio covers, retractable awnings and other canvas shade products
• Take down and Put Up of seasonal canopies and window awnings
• Ensuring that the job is completed with high quality standards.
• Cleaning job site after completion of work
• Ensuring customers are satisfied with the final product that they receive.
• Unloading and preparing trucks
• Keep work trucks clean

The installer position requires both mental and physical strength, as long days in the sun and/or cold are the norm. In addition, installers should:

• Must have a clean driving record.
• Have a strong work ethic.
• Have at least basic knowledge of construction
• Be capable of lifting and carrying up to 100 pounds
• Have a strong attention to detail
• Be comfortable speaking with homeowners on the job
• Be comfortable working as a team
• Be capable of reading orders
• Be capable of working on 2nd, sometime 3rd floor ladders and lifts
