A2 is responsible to lead the setup of powered speakers, hooking up all mics and outputs to the speakers at the stage box level, as well as ensuring all lines are running to the FOH position for the Audio Tech to connect to the audio console. A2 will help ring out mics with the Audio Tech and assist where needed to ensure the highest quality production.
V2 is responsible to lead the PAs in setting up all stage level, back of house, including: projection screens, confidence monitors, video podium (when needed), LED panel build, wiring and digitizer, camera build and signal testing to TD FOH. L2 is responsible for hanging and placing all lighting fixtures around the event space. This includes knowledge of wiring DMX, as well as power and proper alignment of the fixtures. The L2 will work to connect and DMX address all the fixtures per the LD’s specs. L2 will ensure all cabling goes to the LD FOH position and assist when the LD comes in to connect and test the fixtures.
The camera operator will run a professional handheld camera at the direction of the TD on show day, as well as assist in striking all video equipment at the end of the show. Cam ops will be asked to arrive at the event venue no earlier than 3 hours before doors open. The cam ops will have a meeting with the producer and the TD prior to the show to review the aspects of what is needed. .
