The duties include but are not limited to:
* Stores, prepares, and serves food.
* Cleans work areas, utensils, equipment, and cafeteria facility.
* Maintains required forms and records.
* Follows system policies and standards on sanitation, personal grooming, dress, and safety.
* Performs other duties as assigned by the principal and CNP manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have sufficient education to have basic skills in reading, writing, and math.
Must have a valid food handler's permit or ServSafe Certification.
Must have strength to lift and carry food items or objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
PREFERRED:
A high school graduate from a regionally accredited school, GED equivalent, or completion of an accredited job training program such as: Project SEARCH, Volunteers of America, AL Department of Rehabilitation Services, etc.
Prefer but not limited to Substitutes in the MCPSS Cafeteria System.

Applicants selected for classified positions must undergo (or have undergone) an ABI/FBI criminal history background check (fingerprinting administered through sites selected and approved by the MCPSS and State of Alabama Education Department) and be declared suitable and fit to teach under state law. Applicants selected must also pass a drug-screening test via forms provided by Human Resources during the selection process.
