MMI ENGINEERED SOLUTIONS is Hiring a Quality Coordinator Near Saline, MI
This position is primarily responsible for performing visual and where necessary dimensional inspection of products produced, document defects and work with remaining Quality, Engineering, and operations to resolve any quality issues in an efficient and expeditious manner.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain Quality Gages, First Article part/s and VAS board/s (Visual Acceptance Standard)
- Create/Maintain Quality Section of Process books (Quality Guide & Quality Inspections Sheets).
- Perform Receiving inspection and maintain records in IQMS
- Maintain Quality Hold Cage and the Nonconforming List
- Support New Employee Quality Training
- Participate in Supplier and Customer problem solving activity (as needed)
- Lead and participate in Quality Containment actions (as needed)
- Perform Dimensional Inspections and Audits on Production Floor (as needed)
- Perform Safe Launch Inspections (as needed)
- Regular & prompt attendance at work.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with clients & coworkers in a respectful and professional manner.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as required (Coming in early, staying late, working weekends, etc.).
- Demonstrated work-experience in a quality role for a minimum of 3 years.
- Demonstrated understanding of inspection techniques and experience using Calipers; Micrometers; Height gages; & Check-fixtures.
- Strong Team orientation and organizational skills.
- Proven communicational skills, both written and oral.
- Demonstrated experience using Word; Excel; and Power Point software
