Essential Duties
  • Willingness to show up for work ready to learn and put forth consistent effort in the position
  • Assists in the planning of professional development trainings and workshops hosted by the CSPD Center
  • Be a peer mentor providing scheduled office hours when students can set up an appointment for resume and cover letter reviewing and interview preparation
  • Assist CSPD staff with events and daily operations in the Center
  • Responsible for CSPD social media content and works with the Director of CSPD to create a monthly marketing calendar
  • Work with the Director of CSPD to maintain Handshake platform

Minimum Qualifications
  • Attendance and diligence
  • Preference for a rising sophomore or junior for fall 2024 term
  • Involvement on campus as a member or leader in a student organization, athletic team, and/or academic program organization
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Job Description Summary

The Career Services and Professional Development Center is searching for an intern to assist in the marketing and building of the Professional Development Program. The student intern will receive necessary training from CSPD staff during their employment.
