Job description
Our prestigious treatment center, specializing in medical opiate detox within a full-service hospital setting, is currently seeking a part-time with the possibility of full time, to join our team. As a CNA, your mission will be to provide essential administrative and patient support. The assigned shifts will primarily cover afternoons and evenings.
Responsibilities:

• Deliver various therapeutic services in all of the recovery programs at Domus Retreat and AAMOD Medical Center.
• Assist the medical director during patient consultations and medical treatments.
• Attend to patients' requests and provide necessary assistance.
• Offer support and address questions to alleviate patient anxiety.
• Communicate patient status and any issues to the management office and medical director.
• Coordinate admissions and ensure a smooth process for patients.
• Keep family members informed with regular updates post-procedure.
• Coordinate discharge plans and transportation arrangements with Domus Retreat and the management office.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare field.
• Prior experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
• Certification in medical assisting, CNA, or a related field is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in administrative tasks.
• Flexibility in scheduling and adapting to changing admissions.
• Possess a positive attitude and a high level of patience when dealing with patients.
• Knowledge and experience in adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliability and excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License.
• Clean driving record (must provide DMV printout upon hire).
• EMT or CNA license in good standing.
• CAADAC or CAADE certification (within 60 days of hire).
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Associate Degree or higher.
