Location : Waterloo, IA
Duration of Role: 1 years
Pay : $25.01 / hourly
Hours : 7:00 am 3:00 PM with very little overtime.
Visa sponsorship is not available, now or in the near future, for this position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work to ensure employees are aware of, understand, and know how they can impact the goals for their Business Unit.
Provide communication support to departments, employee directed group, and managers to assist in identifying communication needs and messaging.
Deliver communications and graphic elements to internal and external partners that align with organization's goals
Plan, edit, and manage communications and activities for Waterloo Operations
Adhere to brand standards and tone when creating digital signage, printed content, digital content, and videos
Assist in identifying communication needs and messages
Assist in executing communication activities for Waterloo
Operations (creation of materials for events, photography,
video, etc.)
Serve as liaison with suppliers
Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High working knowledge of Adobe Suite software
Familiarity with design concepts and principles
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational skills
Bachelors degree in Communications / Graphic Design / Business discipline or equivalent work experience
DESIRED:
Photography and camera skills
Video filming and editing skills
X20 experience
SharePoint design experience
Additional notes:
Business casual dress code. May drive personal vehicle to other facilities for meetings.
