BUSINESS SERVICES WORKFLOW SPECIALIST

Millennium Physician Group is seeking to hire a full-time/Business Services Workflow Specialist to join our Business Services Team in the Fort Myers, FL, area. We are looking for a new team member who is -positive, energetic, able to multi-task, and loves patient interaction. The Business Services Workflow Specialist performs application analysis concepts, including evaluating current stated workflows, policies, standardization of quality and reliability/usability of the PM (Practice Management) system. This position is responsible for developing and implementing standardized training and policy/procedural materials for multiple Business Services teams. This position is also responsible for providing education to end users with consideration to adult learning principles, workflow, and efficiency. The Business Services Workflow Specialist observes users interacting with the Practice Management system and other revenue support systems to identify additional education needed or system improvement opportunities. This role provides direct end user support related to the systems for department process improvement and education. This role assists in the delivery of the organization's desired outcomes, including user adoption of the PM.

The Business Services Workflow Specialist will assist in developing, designing, and evaluating a range of mosaics and training programs within the Central Business office and work closely with the Business Services Coordinator as applicable. Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of multiple roles, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Responsible for the systematic assessment of all current resources and training materials by position
  • Identifies opportunities for standardization of existing workflows and/or developing more efficient processes to support maximum efficiency, adoption by staff, and consistency to produce overall improvement of the user in each role
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
  • Coordinates and performs direct observational assessments of team member performance in their ability to maximize daily productivity, incorporating system efficiencies. Making recommendations for and execution of follow-up training of team members
  • Coordinates with CBO Management in the development of content for training and education on Business Services related topics.
  • Facilitates the training of new hires for the Business Services team including but not limited to training modules, provision of job specific resources, initial week training schedules and facilitating assistance for any issues identified for the new hire to access necessary programs and tools.
  • Support the Business Service department with Ad Hoc reporting as requested.
  • Adhere to company Standards of Behaviors.
  • Additional duties as required.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree - adult learning or healthcare management preferred or minimum of 4 years in a medical practice organization
  • Teaching and facilitation skills
  • Knowledge and experience in implementation and facilitation of technical, operations and/or specialty training
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Creativity tempered with an understanding of the intended audience, client culture and learning preferences.
  • Proven experience in delivering multiple training events in various settings
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly organized and ability to meet deadlines
  • Versatile and flexible
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in diverse settings.
  • Sound decision making skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and in database software
