Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time position in Milford, NH. This role involves providing one-on-one care to a 3rd-grade female student with specific medical and developmental needs. The student has Type 1 diabetes, requiring close monitoring and treatment, as well as Autism and AD/HD.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the student's Type 1 diabetes, ensuring timely blood glucose testing and insulin administration as needed.
- Provide one-on-one support to the student, addressing her medical needs throughout the school day.
- Implement and follow individualized health care plans tailored to the student's medical and developmental requirements.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to the student's care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation of blood glucose levels, insulin administration, and any other health-related interventions.
- Assist in creating a safe and supportive environment for the student, facilitating her participation in educational activities.
- Adapt care strategies based on the student's needs and responses to treatment.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with Autism and AD/HD, is preferred.
- Proficiency in managing Type 1 diabetes, including blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions in a school setting.

- $40 per hour
