What is my role type?

In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. We’ve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is:

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

The F135 Support Equipment 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for accomplishing the following tasks:

  • Manage the gated process in F135 Support Equipment Application for Logistics (SEAL) for Repair & Upgrades
  • Coordinate with delivery assurance and the vendor community to ensure turnaround times are met for repaired and upgraded assets.
  • Manage F135 Support Equipment (SE) in Maintenix (MXI) to ensure logistics have a viable pool of serviceable assets to meet customer demands.
  • Develop and implement a forecast process to track assets 60, 90, and 120 days before they become unserviceable in MXI.
  • Support Gov’t Property related requests (Audits, Cycle Counting, Verifying locations of assets).
  • Maintain annual inspection, calibration, and dead load test dates for all assets within MXI and SAP.
  • Track and monitor all support equipment Time Compliant Technical Directive (TCTD) within MXI.
  • Drive the overall operations of the 3PL activities in support of the SE Global Spares Pool (GSP)
  • Provide SAP/system support - ensuring that all SAP functions and task are properly executed in a timely manner to maintain data integrity at the warehouse
  • Support the 3PL warehouse manager with all warehouse activities
  • Track 3PL performance per the statement of work metrics.
  • Provide oversight to 3PL packaging to ensure compliance to the PW supplied specification.
  • The position requires a strong technical skillset and ability to explain SE functions to a non-technical audience.
  • Support Engineering Investigations (EI) when SE fails, determining root cause and implementing corrective actions using CORE standard practices.
  • Ensure all support equipment quality escapes are properly quarantined physically at the warehouse and in SAP.
  • Ensure assets returned from the vendor are properly tracked in MXI and SAP.
  • Support creating and implementing process improvements and standard work per CORE standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience
  • Experience with SAP or other related ERP systems
  • US Citizenship required due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated, capable of working without ongoing supervision
  • Experience utilizing collaboration tools like MS TEAMS, SharePoint, and Google Docs
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Capable of working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
