Responsibilities:
- Check and empty all trash in resident's rooms and common areas
- Clean the resident's room daily by, dusting, sweeping, mopping and cleaning bathrooms
- Keep supply rooms clean and free of trash
- Performs all cleaning, floor care and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor.
- All entry glass doors are to be kept cleaned
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have experience working as a housekeeper in a retirement community, though this is not required.
Be able to read, write, and speak English
Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors.
