Full Time Dental Assistant Job Description:

Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking a full- time dental assistant to join our AL team! This Dental Assistant will be hired to work full- time, 40 hours per week. This is a 4- day work week position with a Tuesday through Friday schedule working from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. This dental assisting position is located at the Tutwiler Prison for Women in Wetumpka, AL. This position is a rewarding, low stress alternative to private practice dentistry. MAH offers a competitive compensation of $16 plus per hour as well as full benefits to full time positions including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, generous paid time off, paid holidays, health savings, and flex spending. There are NO late nights or weekends required for this position!!

Full Time Dental Assistant Job Duties:

Routine chairside duties include preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care. No ortho, crown & bridge, or endo required. Administrative duties are also required.

Full Time Dental Assistant Job Qualifications:

1 year experience and certificate from an accredited Dental Assisting program preferred. MUST have previous Dental Assistant experience OR have completed an accredited Dental Assisting program. Must have valid CPR for Healthcare Providers.
