Material Methods Manager - RDM (Experienced Professional) Michelin is hiring! - - - - - - - - - - - - THIS OPEN POSITION IS LOCATED ONLY AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS: Louisville ASRC THE OPPORTUNITY Michelin has an immediate opportunity at our American Synthetic Rubber Company (ASRC) chemical plant in Louisville, KY for a Process Definition Manager to help manage and control the production process in a high paced, dynamic, operational facility. This role’s purpose is to improve metrics through process development, improvement, and standard adherence and assist in the change management. WHAT YOU WILL DO · Implements the rules and tools of the Group Leadership model in an exemplary manner. · Supports their team members in their competency development and professional development. Promotes constant collaboration between their team members, and with their partners... Create the conditions for accountability within the team. Incarnates and brings about change in practices, tools, methods,... · Captures each PMPM2 evolution request or need (Products, Materials, Processes, Methods, Measures), and manages the associated project portfolio (Premises or contributions to Central projects) as manager of the "Local Evolution Control" process. Arbitrate if necessary the balance of resources/capacity. Pilots the LTI indicator (Lead Time Indus) and the associated outputs. · In the event of qualification as a training school site for practical training courses, the annual resources requested by the LCM are quantified locally and provisioned. · For each PMPM2 project of their portfolio, manage and/or as a referent, guarantees the application of the PMPM2 Quality Planning approach locally by the project managers. · Contributes to the weekly, monthly and annual monitoring of the performance of their site activity. · As a Method referent, leads or participates in advanced tools, Quality or problem solving (FMEA, Audit, ADEQUA...), and according to the cases treated, in collaboration with their Local or Central partners. · As a representative of the Industrialization metier of their activity site, participates in operational networks of business lines, performance, progress... (RDM networks, Dedicated Plant Team, Networks of the metier of their team,...). · As a member of the local GQA team, can replace its partner managers in their daily activities, excluding team management. WHAT YOU WILL BRING · Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact in a professional manner with external partners, suppliers, customers, and colleagues at all levels of the organization. · Strong teamwork, leadership, and organizational skills. · Effective problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and process/product relationship knowledge. · B.S. degree in scientific field and 5-10 years’ experience in process engineering or quality control manufacturing environment.
