Description
We are pursuing energetic candidates skilled in strategic sourcing and procurement analytics. They should be prepared to be fully engaged, aggressively seek out sourcing knowledge, and independently manage themselves from start to finish on tasks assigned to them.
The position requires strong business, financial, and customer service capabilities to meet the needs of internal customers while protecting Caesars Entertainment's best interests. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, be highly organized, self-motivated, good listener, and solution-oriented problem-solver with the ability to handle a variety of tasks independently and efficiently. Additionally, this individual must be energetic, ethical, and desire a challenging work environment. This role is based in Las Vegas at our corporate headquarters with a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
  • Conducts current spend analysis from all available sources and synthesizes information into effective models that support the decision-making process to support in all aspects of Sourcing: strategic sourcing, category management and operational procurement.
  • Conducts market analysis, facilitates financial analysis, pipeline/rebate management, various costing scenarios, competitive bid analysis and internal continuous improvement initiative analysis.
  • Prepares Category Strategy Overviews with support and direction from leadership.
  • Negotiates commercial terms of contracts.
  • Under direction of a leader, analyses data and provides input/recommendation for process improvement.
  • Special cross functional sourcing projects.
  • Other six step sourcing activities as needed.
  • Active engagement and collaboration with sustainability, quality standards, and regulatory compliance teams to champion work that furthers Caesars Entertainment initiatives and ethical standards.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from a recognized degree or diploma program in Business, Finance, Supply Chain and/or related field, two (2) years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 1-2 years' experience in sourcing, finance, category management, supply chain, or inventory management.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and other colleagues and demonstrate initiative, mature judgment, great customer service orientation, and the ability to anticipate the needs of the organization.
  • Ability to take direction, work independently, and perform detailed work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; handle multiple projects simultaneously; and ensure tasks are completed and deadlines are met as required.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Results oriented and data-driven approach.
  • 2-3 years' experience level in Excel, Power Point, and Word.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
This role will report to the Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing. This role is based in Las Vegas at corporate headquarters, hybrid work schedule.
