We are now hiring for a full-time Intake Supervisor to join our HQ team!
Locations:
  • 101 N. Wacker Dr., 17th Floor, Chicago, IL 60606
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Manage a team of Intake Specialist floaters and Part Time Intake Specialists who work in the evenings (Monday - Thursday) and on Saturdays.
  • Ensure the use of Intake and Referral program values and operating principles for successful implementation of the program and fidelity to the program model with assigned staff
  • Monitor and provide direction to intake workers to ensure protocols, policies and procedures are being followed
  • Facilitate implementation and maintenance of the program with support from the Intake and Referral Program Director
  • Provide weekly reflective supervision with Intake Specialists, to include guidance with crisis situations and difficult encounters
  • Supervise, train, and coordinate assigned intake and referral program staff including Intake Specialists. Responsible for hiring, assigning, evaluating, and terminating staff
  • Assist with the facilitation of the Intake and Referral Program training curriculum
  • Maintain clarity of program expectations; maintain opportunities for ongoing system feedback and work-flow review
  • Review evaluation data and outcomes to ensure program expectations are being met
  • Facilitate and develop ongoing professional development opportunities for Intake Specialists
  • Responsible for providing on call coverage as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in related field (i.e. social work, sociology, psychology, etc.) required. Master's (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of human service experience required
  • 2 years of Supervisory Experience required
  • Must be detailed oriented with good organizational skills
  • Ability to complete required 40-hour domestic violence training
  • Good computer skills and ability and willingness to learn a variety of applications. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and Salesforce
  • Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups
  • Mobility for travel and a variety of community-based assignments

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • MFS staff are required to provide proof of vaccination or have an approved Medical Exemption prior to starting employment. If an approved Medical Exemption is obtained, weekly testing may be required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for sustained periods of time, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers to feel, handle and operate objects or controls, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel and crouch.
  • The employee will lift and/or move with capability of at least 50 pounds.
SALARY:
  • Compensation is commensurate with years of related experience, position requirements, and candidate qualifications. The average salary for the position is $60,000.
