Award Staffing is Hiring a Safety and Compliance Specialist in Eagan, MN | $50,000 Annualized Near Saint Paul, MN

About the Opportunity:
? Job Title: Safety and Compliance Specialist
? Pay: $50,000 Annualized
? Location: Eagan, MN
? Schedule: 1st Shift Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM or 8AM-4:30PM with optional O/T.
Daily functions:
  1. Support business unit remote/field operations through site audits/investigations, training, and development of site-specific safety objectives and action plans.
  2. Support and manage training programs, communications to new hires, post-accident, and annual refreshers.
  3. Partner in the development and execution to adhere to applicable federal compliance requirements.
  4. Interpret policies, procedures, guidelines, legal and regulatory statutes.
  5. Collaborate with the General Manager and other key business employees to evaluate high risk areas and program non-compliance.
  6. Maintain reporting of safety compliance scorecards.
  7. Coordinate vendor management of applicable systems and programs.
  8. Contribute to process improvements.
  9. Review and maintain program policies, procedures, process flows and other similar responsibilities while serving as a compliance resource.
Desired qualifications:
  1. Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
  2. 2-4 years of relevant transportation safety and compliance work experience.
  3. Ability to read, interpret, and apply state and federal regulations, standards, and requirements.
  4. Demonstrated attention to detail, prioritization, critical thinking, problem analysis and resolution skills.
  5. Ability to collaborate on cross functional teams, learn and understand systems and software and maintain highly confidential information.
  6. Reliability to commute to Eagan every day.
