POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a part-time leader for the A/V Team. The expected hours are 10 - 15 per week plus any special services which will occur from time to time. This position reports directly to the Associate Rector.

TEAM DEVELOPMENT:
Train and Develop a team of volunteers who can function in the absence of A/V Lead and assist with weekly service requirements. This team may be required to assist with Funerals, Weddings, or other “Event’s” held at ASAC.

· Work with the band director, choir director, and communications director to ensure that our use of third-party media is done in accordance with all relevant licenses and copyright laws.

· Oversee and lead the sound team: recruiting, training, and scheduling volunteers and providing quality assurance for the church’s audio and visual media.

· Investigate and implement ways to improve the quality of our church’s audio and visual media.

· Attend the regular and special services of the church or schedule a trained volunteer to do so.

· Attend rehearsals for the band and choir as needed or schedule a trained volunteer to do so.

· Work together with the band director, choir director, and communications director to create and project slides for song lyrics and announcements.

· Keep the relevant staff and vestry members informed of current and future equipment needs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
