We are looking for a talented CNC Machinist, who will be responsible for the set-up, programming, and operation of the DMG Mori Dura Vertical 5100 with MAPPS IV controls..
Main Responsibilities:
- Machine precision details on a 3 axis vertical Mill
- Setup and programming of multiple details, protype and small batch machining (no high volume production runs)
- Use of precision measuring tools
- Blueprint reading
- Hold tight tolerances
- Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment
- All other related duties as assigned
- Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job
- Adhere and perform all duties aligned with the core values of the LINK Group organization, Can-Do Attitude, Courage, Commitment, Humility and Accountability
- High School Diploma
- Proven programming experience with Fusion 360 preferred
- Proven experience operating MAAPS IV controls preferred
- Proven with inspection and layout methods preferred
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Ability to use a computer
- The position is located in a manufacturing environment and will involve hands-on work. Physical activity may include lifting (up to 50lbs.), bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity or sitting for long periods of time
- Ability to speak verbally, and read in English
- Ability to see with corrective lenses
- Ability to hear
- Ability to walk
- Ability to travel up to 10% domestically
- Normal hazards related to working in an office environment, manufacturing, and testing environment
- Normal hazards related to road and air travel
