Growing practice seeking an experienced RN. This is a very HANDS ON POSITION.

Experience with dermatology and surgical procedures, circulating, scrubbing, pre and post op nursing is definitely a plus; however, we love to teach and are willing to take the time and focus on those individuals who are truly motivated in their field and looking for a position where they can learn and grow

This position is for Dermatology and Mohs and Reconstructive surgery. Applicants with dermatology experience are encouraged to apply. Applicants with experience as a surgical ASC nurse are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to the physician with patient care and surgical procedures
• Provide assistance during dermatology clinics.
• Scrubbing for surgical procedures using sterile technique
• Assist the physician during surgeries under the direction of the physician
• Administering lidocaine for procedures and surgery
• Assist physician with patient care and education
• Scribe using EMR (EMA by modernizing medicine)
• Calling patients with biopsy results
• E-scribing prescriptions
• Scheduling patients

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• Certification an RN
• Prior dermatology experience desired
• Prior surgical RN in an OR or ASC desired
• Prior experience in Mohs and Dermatology a plus but not required.
