Key Responsibilities:
Expertise in Licensing Laws: Demonstrate familiarity and competence in the licensing laws and policies for Foster Care and Therapeutic Foster Care as required by the State of NC and MHC.
Licensure Process Coordination: Conduct licensure responsibilities for families within the MHC Foster Care Services Department.
Training Facilitation: Participate in training foster parents and track their progress as part of the licensure process.
Compliance Assurance: Develop processes to ensure assigned foster homes maintain licensure compliance with applicable standards.
Consultation and Support: Provide consultation services to assigned foster homes, offering guidance and support as needed.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain professional documentation for foster home licensure, collecting and reporting data and statistical information.
Recruitment and Screening: Develop and implement recruitment and screening protocols for the Foster Care and Adoption Services Department.
Assist with Screening: Aid in screening potential foster parents to ensure the best fit for our children.
Additional Duties: Perform other duties as requested by supervisor, contributing to the overall success of the Foster Care Services Department.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in human services or related field from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of two (2) years POST-GRADUATE experience in program implementation, licensing of foster homes, and service delivery in human services; experience working with child and family issues required.
Must maintain a valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.
