Responsibilities:

We have an opportunity for a Business Project Manager to join our Berkley Accident and Health (BAH) team! You will provide meeting and project management support to the Program Management team, assisting in the day to day management and oversight of programs, including but not limited to tracking and managing captive membership deliverables, collateral status, as well as the development of systems to track and manage our captive program business.

This role will be based in our Hamilton, NJ office

Key functions include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate with Program Management team and assist in projects in support of our Captive Division as needed
  • Monitor new business and renewal activity and manage the distribution of captive related information using our SharePoint site
  • Schedule, manage, and take minutes for weekly calls to review program status
  • Develop relationships with appropriate day to day key contacts with our program managers, finance, program sponsors and PM team sponsors to ensure timely and appropriate administration of the workflow and life cycle
  • Effectively interact with all functional areas within the company including but not limited to BAH Sales, Underwriting, and Finance teams
  • Oversee vendor billing or reporting, as required
  • Work with our Account Management team and coordinate timely receipt of TPA monthly aggregate reports
  • Special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of business project management experience
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry a plus
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, great follow-through on tasks
  • Must have a collaborative work style to interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization
  • Natural curiosity; you love learning how things work and you are always looking for innovative improvements
  • Exceptional communication skills
