Position Details:

• Title: Inpatient Pharmacy Technician
• Type: Full-time
• Duration: 13 weeks (with potential for extension)
• Start Date: April 15th
• Shift: Overnight, 7 on / 7 off, from 9:30 pm to 8:00 am

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient experience, including IV preparation.
• Licensure: Must possess a valid NJ pharmacy technician license in good standing. Candidates without an NJ license in hand will not be considered.
• Certification: PTCB certification is highly preferred, but not required.
• COVID Compliance: COVID card and booster shot required for all candidates. Medical or religious exemptions will be accepted.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties, including medication dispensing and IV preparation.
• Utilize automation systems such as Pyxis, Omnicell, and Carousel.
• Work with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically EPIC.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all pharmacy operations.
