The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, planning and implementation of a treatment plan addressing the functional needs of a variety of patient diagnoses.

Education and Experience
Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
Certification and Licensure
Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in WI, IL or both if required
Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days
NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) preferred

Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of vehicle insurance when requested.
Have and maintain an acceptable driving record per Mercyhealth's HR.100 Fleet and Driver Safety policy.
Special Physical Demands

This is considered medium strength work exerting 25-50 pounds of force occasionally or 10-25 pounds of force frequently. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Level of Supervision
Some independent judgement is required, based upon scope of practice and within professional standards.
