JOB SUMMARY:
To promote the mission of PATH to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by being an effective team member. Provide intensive therapeutic interventions with children and families in the form of assessments, individual, group and family therapy. Provide initial and on-going assessments. Provide supervision of IBHS BHT (Behavior Health Technician) as assigned. Ensure utilization of approved evidenced-based models and that the needs of the youth and family are being met. Provide quality, trauma-informed services in the home, school and community.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must meet one of the following:
*Verified and approved credit hours include: foundations of behavioral health and provision of mental health services, individual, group and/or family therapy, crisis counseling, cognitive and/or psycho-dynamic therapy, abnormal psych, psychopathology, assessment, child development, personality theory, psychotherapy lab. No more than 3 of the 9 can be derived from a practicum.
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills as well as be able to use an electronic health record system
- COVID-19 vaccination, or willingness to receive vaccine required.
- Valid Driver's License required.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to stand and sit for extended periods. Ability to pass training on crisis intervention and defensive procedures.
