Provides direct assistance to the surgeon(s) during surgical procedures.

Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of a surgical technology program and/or current surgical technologist certification.

Minimum Experience: At least one year experience in the operating room within an acute care facility. For cardiovascular program, minimum one year experience on open heart team required.

Certification/Licensure: Current CPR certificate. Current Surgical Technician Certificate required.

Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
