Meltwater is seeking a talented Data Scientist who thrives on uncovering patterns within time series data to join our innovative team. We're looking for a dynamic team player who is passionate about leading the way in utilizing time series analysis, prescriptive analytics, and LLM for our groundbreaking projects.
What You'll Do
- Gather requirements to understand project objectives.
- Build scalable data pipelines for efficient data processing.
- Conduct data analysis and train models on large-scale datasets.
- Develop cloud-native APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to serve models.
- Collaborate with software engineers to set up DevOps, logging, and monitoring systems.
- Receive feedback from sales and clients for continuous improvement.
- Perform ad-hoc updates and troubleshooting as needed to maintain smooth operations.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field AND 5 years of data science experience focusing on time series analysis and predictive analytics OR Master's degree in a relevant field AND 2 years of data science experience with a focus on time series analysis and predictive analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Python, including proficiency with common data science libraries such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, and scipy.
- Demonstrated expertise in time series analysis techniques.
- Proven experience in Predictive Analytics.
- Familiarity with LLMs (specific meaning not provided).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and API frameworks, including but not limited to flask, fastAPI, and gunicorn.
- Knowledge of the AWS ecosystem, along with experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
- Competitive compensation - Base Salary range for this position: $150K - $170K USD per year
