Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Team Lead, CSS for a Full Time, second shift role in Charlottesville, VA! Hours are primarily from 3p to 11p.

The Central Sterile Processing Team Lead is responsible for receiving, decontamination, sterilizing, storing, and distributing all instruments handled by Sterile Processing.

Assembles and disassembles case carts. Functions as a preceptor and mentor.

About the department :

Performing an average of 7,000 cases each year, the Operating Room at SMJH has 8 OR suites and offers a variety of service lines including Complex GYN, Neurosurgery, Vascular / Thoracic and Orthopedic surgery.

It is also the 2nd highest-performing OR in the Sentara system for Orthopedic total joint procedures.

Requirements :

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing / Distribution Tech) or IAHCSMM (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) required.
• 2 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Supervisory experience preferred

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)

Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) - Certification - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA), Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) - Certification - Other / National
