Merchology is in pursuit of an Operations Manager to lead their Pennsylvania production team! The Operations Manager will provide leadership and support to ensure site business activities run smoothly and increase levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower, materials, and processes. Reporting to the Operations Director, the Operations Manager will be responsible for all site staff, represent the organization in the local community, and directly back up other site leadership roles, as necessary.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
A successful Operations Manager will:

• Properly staffing site operations through recruiting, hiring, and onboarding in conjunction with the company's People Team.
• Provide leadership through effective employee relations, including positive communications, coaching, training, and development.
• Direct daily operational activities and coordinate with other departments as necessary to ensure good communication and alignment on key objectives such as production load, inventory control, quality, labor cost, and on time order delivery.
• Capable of performing and training on all tasks in the Receiving through Fulfillment processes in support of site leadership staff.
• Support order processing accuracy and speed through daily hands-on involvement plus leading extra hours of utilization/overtime as needed to reach revenue objectives.
• Monitor and report on key operational metrics to drive continuous improvement and goal attainment for the site.
• Oversee and support safety training for all site employees including overall company committee participation, RTK, and other applicable regulatory compliance.
• Communicate regularly and openly with Director of Operations, Customer Service, Order Graphics, and other functional areas as necessary to balance priorities, answer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost by implementing and sustaining Merchology standard methodologies to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Assist in executing operational budget by meeting and/or exceeding financial goals and controlling variable expenses.

Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong leadership attributes with 2-5 years of experience leading people/teams in a management role
• Experience leading a manufacturing and/or production value added team
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and external contacts
• Proficient in creating and documenting processes with written procedures
• Respect and follow Merchology's core values

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with cloud-based ERP/systems
• Experience in a high-mix, custom order environment
• Bilingual (Spanish)
• Safety and compliance for production operations (AWAIR, RTK)
