Bluepearl is Hiring a Veterinary Client Service Representative Near Charlestown, MA

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an experienced Client Service Representative **at our Charlestown, MA location conveniently located next to Sullivan Square Train Station! **

Option of 4- or 5-Day Work Week!

  • Monday- Friday: 3:00pm-11:00pm

  • Thursday-Sunday: 1:00pm- 11:00pm

Pay: $20.75 - $31.80 / hour

*This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.

A **s a Veterinary Receptionist, you will: **

  • Provides communication between Client Service Team and other areas of the hospital for smooth interactions among co-workers.

  • Establishes and posts associate schedules on a bi-weekly basis and is responsible for approving and posting work schedule changes.

  • Initiates positive utilization of the schedule for pre-planned time off, sufficient coverage given work volumes and training opportunities for staff.

  • Demonstrates excellent planning and time utilization skills to ensure special project completion in a timely manner and maintains effective use of staff time.

  • Facilitates quick resolution to conflicts that may arise between CSCs or CSCs and other associates of the hospital. Involves a manager as needed.

  • Coaches CSCs on basic protocols for improvement and records progress with CSM.

  • Contributes to CSM 's investigations of reported associate incidents.

  • Mentors and trains peers enthusiastically, competently and per the Quality Standards and Protocols of BPVP. Supports efforts of other associates to learn new skills by offering positive, constructive guidance and alerting those associates of opportunities to practice the skills.

Our Continuing Education Plan includes $500/year reimbursement for CVT and $750/year for VTS. The Continuing Education allowance can roll over up to $1,500 for CVT and VTS associates. Non-Credentialed, full-time Paraprofessionals are eligible for an annual CE stipend of $150. Full-time CVT associates also receive 8 hours of CE paid hours each year. Full-time VTS associates receive 12 hours of CE paid each year. Paid CE hours can be carried over year to year up to a maximum of 24 hours. Newly hired associates will receive a pro-rated amount of any CE benefit for which they are eligible.
