At MediaCo, we’re changing the way people think about enterprise Media and Digital Technology with our iconic and innovative brands HOT97 and WBLS. Headquartered in the heart of New York City, MediaCo is a fast-growing company with a fun atmosphere. We are currently seeking a digital-minded content creator who is looking to learn different aspects of the radio and digital content business. In this support position for our Hot 97 and WBLS websites you will assist the editorial, video, podcast, and social departments with various tasks including:

• Assisting with newsletter creation and dissemination
• Writing news posts and sales campaign copy
• Logging video, including time codes
• Writing headlines for YouTube
• Editing short video for social
• Covering live events for social
• Managing spreadsheets across departments
• Conducting research across departments

What we’d like you to have:

• College Degree (Associates or Bachelors)
• 2-4 years’ experience (internships ok)
• Prior published writing
• Video capture and editing experience.
• Ability to exercise discretion and utilize independent judgement in decision-making
• Proficiency with Microsoft/Google Office Suite
• Light HTML
• Based in New York/Tri-state Area (This is a hybrid position in office 4 days per week)
• A love of Hip Hop/ R&B Music
