This position is open to TTUHSC Employees only.
Performs varied and complex administrative duties in overseeing medical students and residents in a clinic or hospital setting. Requires independent judgment and application of established policies and procedures.
Major/Essential Functions
Provide oversight of an ACGME accredited Cardiology Fellowship Program. Direct, plan, coordinate and supervise the patient care, operations and activities of the fellows, residents and/or medical students rotating in the cardiology program. Follow all ACGME procedures, policies and meet deadlines. Follow all GME, institutional and program policies, procedures and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
Must have a current appointment with TTUHSC Odessa/Midland. Must have a MD, DO, MBBS or foreign equivalent degree. Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas. Board certified in Pulmonology.
