Our SALT team has extensive training in tax accounting, tax law, compliance, audits, and economic development benefits, and experience with tax laws in many states. Our SALT solutions apply to sales and use taxes, income, and franchise taxes, property taxes, credits and incentives, and many more thorough understandings of multi-state sales & use taxes.
How you will contribute:
Understanding sales & use taxes
Identifying optimal filing options
Analyzing and reviewing apportionment information
Consistently identifying engagement and operating opportunities for improvement and providing timely solutions and consultation
Understanding nexus and revenue sourcing issues
Managing multiple concurrent engagements without disruption or loss of control and within scheduled deadlines
Planning and researching tax issues
Managing multiple client relationships, billings, and resource needs
Preparing technical memorandums
Providing audit assistance
Assisting with state income tax compliance
Assisting in managing, developing, and coaching professional staff

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
3 years or more of professional experience - public accounting experience is required, but the experience can include a combination of public accounting (tax) and/or industry
CPA license or J.D. or L.L.M designation preferred
