We are hiring a 2nd shift line leader to join our team! This position provides manufacturing support in a team environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:
•Operates machines as necessary
•Assists with start up procedures in a timely manner
•Maintains quality product within the designated cell
•Performs visual inspections, reviews documentation, and audits production processes
•Insures proper identification of product within the cell
•Trains machine operators on proper loading/unloading of product, proper gauging and interpretation of readings, tool changing, and any other functions of the machine as necessary
•Maintains a safe, clean work area
•Maintains a 5S (Visual Factory) work cell
•Maintains adequate material within the cell
•Reports final production quantities and machine downtime
•Communicates to the supervisor on the status of the cell
•Strives for continuous improvement of the work cell
•Relieves operators for breaks and lunches
Requirements
Education and Experience:
•High school diploma or equivalent required
•1 - 2 years of experience in an industrial environment preferred
•Ability to become certified to drive a fork truck
•Employees are expected to work and attend in person meetings as necessary
