McDonald Automotive is Hiring a Receptionist/ Operator Team Lead Near Littleton, CO

About your role:
The Receptionist Team Lead is a supervisor capable of handling escalated customer concerns, training, and supporting management as needed. This role works to greet and direct customers through the telephone.
Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:
  • Answers the telephone pleasantly, determines the nature of the call, and helps or directs the caller to the appropriate individual or department.
  • Handles escalated customer concerns with the ability to identify and effect solutions through the correct department to ensure the customer receives the best customer service.
  • Trains, leads, and mentors other receptionists guiding proper use of the phone system.
  • Responsible for creating schedules and ensuring appropriate coverage during dealership hours.
  • Assists with other duties as assigned.
  • Follow scheduled hours as needed, defined by your manager.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Type of Experience Needed to be Successful:
1 - 3 years of experience as a receptionist, office assistant, clerical, or other relevant administrative role is required.
Specialized Skills:
  • Ability to operate a multi-line switchboard.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Ability to work well with the public.
  • Customer service oriented must have experience working directly with customers.
  • Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software/internet proficiency.
  • The position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
Supervisory Expectations:
The position has immediate oversight of 2 or more team members performing the same or directly related work as those the position leads, which includes interviewing, hiring, training employees, planned work, assigning work, directing work, appraisal and performance, rewarding and disciplining, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
