Commercial Kitchen Cleaning and Floor Care Position Overview: We are seeking skilled and highly exceptional Commercial Kitchen Cleaning and Floor Care Specialists to join our EBS-4U team! You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment. You must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, prolong standing, squatting, walking, and frequent bending. MUST HAVE Strong Commercial Kitchen and Floor Care experience in a hospital and/or Hotel is critical.You must have reliable transportation and be able to work in Palo Alto, CA 94304, Menlo Park, CA 94025, and Livermore, CA 94550.

Candidates must be able to speak fluent English, be a US Citizen or a Naturalized Citizen and be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Unless otherwise specified, all personnel will be working 30 or 40 hours a week spread out to cover 7 days a week (Sun.-Sat.); including holidays. The candidate shall generally perform all work between the hours of
7:00pm-3:30am and 7:30pm-4am

Responsibilities and duties involve a combination of the following:

• Commercial Sweeping, mopping of floors.
• Commercial Cleaning Kitchen Equipment; walk-in freezers and storage areas
• Commercial Vacuuming and shampooing carpets.
• Removing trash and other refuse.
• Cleaning dining room and Prep room
• Commercial Cleaning Kitchen Equipment; walk-in freezers and storage areas
• Dusting equipment, furniture, fixtures, damp dusting ceilings, and other surfaces.
• Clean Tabletop and floor style fans
• Commercial Stainless Steel Polishing metal fixtures, porcelain bathroom fixtures or trimmings.
• Replenishing supplies such as: toilet tissue, paper towels, soap, etc. as required.
• Cleaning glass and mirrors
• Cleaning lavatories and other bathroom fixtures.
• Reporting need for repairs to equipment.
• Perform heavy cleaning duties such as: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, burnish, strip & Wax, and polishing of floors
• Walls cleaned.
• Perform routine floor maintenance tasks: stripping, refinishing hard and resilient flooring and other surfaces
• Organize custodial closets and spaces
• Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Certified Executive Housekeeper (C.E.H.) is a plus.
• Ability to speak and read fluently in English.

Minimum Experience – Have at least two years’ experience as a Housekeeper and Floor Care in a commercial/healthcare/industrial building or hotel/motel.

Minimum Education – High school diploma or equivalent; Sufficient to read, write and speak the English language.

Job Types: Contract, Part-Time and Full-time

Hourly Pay (depending on experience): $24.12-$26.Hr
