eyebobs is Hiring a Sales Representative – Florida Near Florida, FL

Due to the continued expansion of our Wholesale Channel, eyebobs has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Representative - Florida with responsibility for building and managing partner relationships with Specialty (Men’s/Women’s), Resort retailers and supporting premium optical points of distributions across our Florida territory. Serving as an advocate in the market representing our premium readers, this position provides a comprehensive set of programs and ongoing support to our customers to help grow their eyewear brand assortment. This position requires demonstrated experience in growing and closing sales and will be focused on prospecting and developing new accounts, building long-term customer relationships, and increasing sales revenue. The Sales Representative will be evaluated on the ability to meet sales quotas and revenue targets while focusing on the customer experience with both sell-in and sell-through efforts. This position requires proven territory management skills, reliable transportation, an enthusiasm for extensive travel, and the ability to carry and lift multiple sample bags weighing up to 50 pounds.
This role is a full-time, W2 employee with a base salary commission structure and full benefits package including medical, dental, short and long-term disability, 401k with company match and paid time off. Must reside in Florida. Please include a cover letter and resume when applying.
Major Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Represents eyebobs and future affiliated eyewear brands to Specialty (Men’s/Women’s), Resort retailers and premium optical points of distribution in assigned territory, promoting the value proposition of the brand while ensuring brand integrity in the short, medium, and long term. 
  • Develops annual business plan to achieve both quantitative and qualitative objectives for assigned territory in alignment with Wholesale Channel strategy. 
  • Cultivates existing customer base while continuously prospecting for new potential in the market; builds strong working relationships with customer leaders and decision makers. 
  • Achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. 
  • Proactively manages distribution in assigned territory using excellent judgment to ensure the highest quality targets and maximum doors opened. 
  • Ensures brand visual merchandising and distribution quality standards are met - refreshes marketing materials regularly along with board space to reflect brand positioning and support sell-thru of product. 
  • Follows and executes sales process and standards for the company. 
  • Utilizes brand materials to conduct regular in-store trainings to reinforce product knowledge and ensure consumer messaging is accurate and on brand. 
  • Attends and represents eyebobs at local, regional, and national trade shows.
Required Qualifications 
  • Minimum 3 years of proven success as an Outside / Territory Sales professional. If you have been in the Optical Industry, that is a plus! 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree is preferred 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
  • Experience with NuOrder or similar platform helpful 
  • Ability to carry and lift multiple sample bags, weighing up to 50 lbs 
  • Valid driver’s license and great driving record 
  • Overnight travel up to 100% to support territory coverage and attend trade shows 
  • Must reside in assigned territory (Florida)

  • Driven to accomplish goals and objectives. 
  • Competitive desire to grow eyebobs Wholesale business. 
  • Clear, common-sense thinker with critical reasoning skills. 
  • Able to obtain and retain information, evaluate alternatives, seek advice, make recommendations, and take action. 
  • Collaborative/cooperative relations with leadership and corporate colleagues.
