We are currently seeking a well-qualified candidate for the position of Field Applications Engineer (FAE) as a remote position, located in the Santa Clara, CA region. As an FAE, you will interface with our customers, and internal Engineering and Sales and Marketing teams for applications that require a significant focus on power conversion technology. The role of FAE gives an excellent insight into the Sales, Marketing, and Product Development functions of the organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Engineering resource on the AIPC Business Development team to lead technical aspects of the sales cycleDevelop personal relationships and rapport with key design influencers at key accountsProvide technical marketing support for the development and implementation of AIPC solutionsPrepare materials and participate in product presentationsProvide customer service to solve complex interconnect problems and technical inquiriesHelp devise strategies to differentiate our products and solutions from our competitorsParticipate in industry standards, events, and training sessions to remain current with new developments in power conversion technologies, and ensure that these industry developments are well communicated within the AIPC organizationMeet and exceed strategic objectives QUALIFICATIONSBS Degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on Power Electronics is preferred. Strong Mechanical Design experience is a plus.Minimum of 5 years displayed experience providing product marketing and technical sales support to produce design winsTravel may be required, both domestic and international SKILLSResults-driven mindsetAbility to effectively communicate across the Engineering and Managerial functions of the businessSolid presentation, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to interact well with customersHigh level of organization and customer service abilitiesProficient in MS Office SuiteExperience with modeling tools (CAD, Pro E, or Solidworks) Amphenol offers a competitive salary and benefits.
