We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst with Real Estate Software/Platform Implementation expertise interested in helping us continue to build the United States' largest retailer in the Digital space. This position is part of the Business Solutions team that acts as the liaison between IT and the various functional departments (e.g., Merchandising, Store Operations, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Real Estate, etc.). The BSA is expected to lead and drive business meetings with key partners to define the business problems, desired capabilities, and requirements. They will apply critical thinking to determine process impacts and business benefits. They will define and enhance the BA methodology and processes. The Business Systems Analyst partners with all business, IT and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope and within budget.
Evaluate current business processes and system capabilities, identify opportunities and analyze potential solutions to support business goals and objectives
Create business requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys, and document analysis to articulate business needs
Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts
Distinguish user requests from the underlying true requirements
Document current and future processes using cross-functional flow charts, swim lanes, process map diagrams, cross-functional flowcharts and other supporting documentation
Validate findings and obtain approval from key stakeholders
Assist Project Managers with project charters, project estimates, project plans, and business impact analyses
Partner with internal and external development resources to ensure that the solution provides the expected business results
Support Quality Assurance teams in defining and executing test plans, coordinating user acceptance testing and ensuring the solution satisfies requirements and quality expectations
Partner with training teams to ensure effective roll outs
Troubleshoot issues during project deployments
Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned business function(s)
Team player with aptitude to build and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships
High attention to detail with analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with sense of urgency and drive to work towards results and meet deadlines in a constantly changing fast paced environment
Ability to work independently, manage multiple initiatives concurrently, and successfully execute to completion
