What are we looking for in our Perl/Python developer (Sybase)?

Title - Perl/Python developer (Sybase)

Location: Alpharetta GA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite a week)

Pay rate: $60 - $73/hr on w2 (Depend on experience)
Level 3: 5-7 years of experience

Skillset:

• Looking for a developer
• Language is currently written in Pearl, but eventually moving to Python.
• Must have BOTH pearl and python.
• Ideal candidate is needing both pearl and python.
• Sybase is the database they are using.
• All on Unix and Linux
• JavaScript

Team:

• Team is Mainframe Operations Team- Sitting in Mainframe computing, a part of Enterprise technology Services
• Team develops customized tools for mainframe super department and other teams, supporting existing tool and developing new tooling as well
• Providing Automation reporting metrics.
• 14 people on team globally, team is a Dev and QA team

Interviews:

First Round General skills/Communication with managers

2nd round will be technical with 2 developers
