EIDIM Group Inc. is hiring for a Part-Time Contractor/ Handyman that would like to be a part of our team.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Contractor/Handyman specializing in carpentry and

painting to join our team. As a part-time contractor, you will be responsible for

performing various tasks related to carpentry and painting, ensuring high-quality

workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Pre-qualification:

• 2 years of experience as a journeyman without supervision.
• Background checked and Eligible to work in the United States.
• No Issues with driving privileges.
• Can work independently.

1. General Carpentry Services:

• Custom fabrication of wooden enclosures or mounts for speakers,
• projectors, and screens.
• Repair and maintenance of existing wooden structures and furniture within
• audio-visual setups.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

2. Patching Services:

• Applying joint compound to wall to cover holes and damages.
• Sanding and applying texture as needed.
• Using joint compound or spackle to fill in holes or cracks in drywall.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

3. Painting Services:

• Surface preparation including sanding, priming, and patching as needed.
• Application of paint or stain to walls, ceilings, and wooden surfaces using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Color matching and coordination with existing décor or branding guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

4. Finishing Touches:

• Touching up paint or wood finishes to maintain a polished appearance after installation.
• Installing trim or molding to enhance the aesthetic appeal of audio-visual installations.
• Sealing or varnishing wooden surfaces for durability and protection against wear and tear.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintaining records of work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and any special instructions or client preferences.
• Providing regular progress updates to project managers or supervisors regarding ongoing tasks and upcoming priorities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

6. Safety Compliance:

• Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and guidelines while working on-site, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of tools and materials.
• Identifying and mitigating potential hazards or risks associated with carpentry and painting activities in audio-visual environments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This scope of work can be tailored further based on specific project requirements or the

preferences of the contracting company or client. It should serve as a comprehensive

outline of the responsibilities and tasks expected from a part-time contractor/handyman

specializing in carpentry and painting within the audio-visual industry.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $24.00 - $70.00/hour.
