Job Description

The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following :

• Planning health and safety program and protocols
• Teaching all employees in the company about health and safety standards
• Presenting safety training sessions to the company
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA, federal and state regulations
• Handling risk assessments to gather information on safety issues
• Verifying that employees consistently follow safety protocols
• Analyzing health and safety data
• Reviewing and recommending changes to regular activities

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Environmental, Health, & Safety Specialist - Manufacturing will have the following qualifications :

• Bachelor of Science in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Ideally 3 years of experience within an Industrial Manufacturing setting
• Understanding of OSHA federal and state regulations
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to operate independently

• Base Salary of $70,000-$110,000 depending on experience
