Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst / Project Manager with our client in the entertainment industry located in Silver Springs, MD.

• 9-Month assignment (with the possibility of extension)
• Pay: $100.00/hr.
• 100% Onsite in Silver Springs, MD

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Translate business requirements into specific, actionable user stories. This requires...
   1. Strong hands-on experience with Jira, and ability to write clear and complete acceptance criteria.
   2. Ability to supplement text-based stories with tabular reference data, rough mockup and reference images, process diagrams and flowcharts.
   3. Working with development leads to evaluate potential solutions and anticipate implications and side-effects of various design options.
   4. Ability to dig hands-on into data sources via SQL and/or API (via Postman or equivalent) to identify outliers and specific data edge cases.
2. Perform demos and ad-hoc training for new features.
3. Manage and prioritize UAT feedback.
4. Answer questions from developers and QA engineers to clarify requirements and assign business priorities to bugs.
5. Support escalation of production issues as necessary; including complex problems that may cross between systems.

Qualifications:

1. Experience working with Agile software development teams.
2. Jira, specifically with work breakdown via epics, stories & tasks
3. Knowledge on how to fetch data and analyze REQUIRED.
4. Entertainment Industry experience a Plus
5. Knowledge on writing script.
6. Requirements development via text, reference images & diagrams, and tabular data
7. Superior verbal and written communications skills
8. Strong data analysis skills, including ability to extract and manipulate data from SQL and API sources.
9. Specific experience with contract rights management is a plus.
10. Specific experience with entertainment industry is a plus (ideally television or film; or music, sports, or publishing)
11. Specific experience managing complex data migration projects is a plus.
