$20.55/hr to $21.30/hr plus $1.50 Shift Premium

MARSHALLTOWN Company is recruiting for a 3rd Shift Production CNC Machine Operator. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this position is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC equipment in a safe and efficient manner to achieve the quality and production standards of the company.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely operate CNC and other automated production machines
• Complete in-process measurements and offset adjustments to ensure finished parts meet dimensional requirements
• Complete post-machining inspections in accordance with quality assurance procedures
• Communicate and interact with Engineers, Programmers, Supervisors, and other personnel to resolve issues, prove out programs, develop new processes, or trial new tooling packages
• Read and understand setup procedures, blueprints, and quality plans
• Report and record production results electronically per company standards
• Keep and maintain a clean work cell
• Perform all other duties, as required, to meet customer and company quality and productivity needs.

Position Requirements:

• High School or GED Diploma
• 2 years of CNC machine operating experience or completion of a CNC Education Program
• Knowledge of machining concepts, practices, and processes
• Print reading and understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Use of precision measurement tools and gages
• Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and instructions
• Ability to read and comprehend machine (G-code) programming
• Shop math and ability to complete calculations using handbook formulas
