JOB SUMMARY
*This is a hybrid role located in our Bethesda, MD Headquarters
The Social Impact, Multicultural Affairs & Business Councils team is part of the Global Communications and Public Affairs function at Marriott International and is responsible for social responsibility, volunteerism, external stakeholder engagement and a portfolio of initiatives and partnerships which aim to connect our business with communities to drive positive social outcomes and business value. Additionally, this team leads Marriott’s multicultural affairs, cultural competency programs, Business Councils and individuals committed to preserving the history of the Company through the Company’s Archives.
The Manager, Social Impact is an individual contributor that will supports the company’s efforts to lead and drive internal and external awareness of and engagement around the company’s sustainability and social impact (Serve 360) initiatives, programs, partnerships, and volunteer activations. The position is responsible for existing and new program development and maintenance, including providing analytical and project management assistance to projects such as Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting, nonprofit partner management, Serve 360 goal tracking, and collaborating with internal stakeholder groups as they implement strategies to support Serve 360 pull-through. The position reports into the Director, Social Impact Programs and Reporting.

Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college required.
