Responsibilities:Provide basic care for patients with common illnesses or injuries, under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
Manage medications and assist in the administration of treatment related to a variety of medical conditions.
Confer with other health care professionals and review medical records to ensure that patients receive proper care.
Assess patient's condition and determine the need for medical treatment or immediate care.
Prepare, administer, and document medications according to established procedures.
Operate, maintain, and monitor equipment used during patient examinations.
Respond to emergency situations by activating an alarm or calling for help.
Work as part of a team to meet the health care needs of patients.
